We’re Partnering with MTV’s ElectThis to Empower Young People This Election

What do a transgender student in South Carolina, a city council member from Ohio, and a 16-year-old Syrian refugee living in Chicago have in common?

They are just a few of the amazing young people who are sharing their stories and creating change through an exciting new partnership with MTV.

Building on its nearly 25-year legacy of amplifying young voters, MTV is launching “Elect This” (www.electthis.com), a campaign that helps its audience connect with the issues that matter to them in an election season dominated by personalities over policy, and scandal over substance.

Change.org/ElectThis will act as a hub for young people to take action on the issues that matter most to them in this election. You can find petitions to support or start your own!

We know that young people are incredible change agents. There have been thousands of petitions started by young people, and they are often the most popular and the most effective.

For some inspiration, check out these great campaigns that people just started through Change.org/ElectThis:
